Indiana Elvis FANtasy Fest ETAs,

Thank you for confirming that you’ll be joining us for the Indiana Elvis FANtasy Fest ETA Contest, October 9–11!  We’re excited to have you!

Please note: Some contestants have dropped out, so we are still accepting applications.

It’s now time for song selections!  We’re handling both song selections and contestant order a little differently this year (the same as last year), so please read the information below carefully.

SONG SELECTION PROCESS

1. Send us your TOP 15 SONGS - using the link below - no later than September 20!

Per EPE rules, medleys are not allowed.  In addition, songs may not be repeated during the Preliminary Round (Sessions I and II combined).

Each ETA will perform 3 songs in the Preliminary Round:

• Session I:  One (1) song performed to a track
• Session II:  Two (2) songs performed with the live band

There will be a break between Sessions I and II, so you’ll have time to change clothes, etc.

2. We will hold a Facebook LIVE drawing on Sunday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

The drawing will determine both the contestant performance order and the order in which songs are assigned.

Here’s how it will work:

1st Song Selection:
The names will be drawn to determine the order.  The first ETA drawn gets first song selection and will perform first in Session I.  The second ETA drawn gets second selection and performs second, and so on.

2nd Song Selection:
We will reverse the order.  The last ETA drawn will receive first selection for their second song and will perform first in Session II.

3rd Song Selection:
We will reverse the order again, returning to the original drawing order.  The first ETA drawn will receive first selection for their third song.

We will use your submitted list of 15 songs, in order of preference, to assign your songs.  For example, if your first-choice song has already been assigned when it is your turn, we will move to your second choice, then third choice, etc., until we reach the highest-ranked song on your list that is still available.

Once all 3 songs have been assigned, you may choose which one of those songs you perform in Session I (with track) and which two you perform in Session II (with live band).

FACEBOOK LIVE DRAWING

You do not need to be present for Sunday’s Facebook Live drawing.  You’re welcome to watch live, but the video will also be saved on the Indiana Elvis FANtasy Fest Facebook page so you can watch at your convenience.

Once the drawing is complete and all song assignments have been made, I will email your final song list.  If there is an issue with any song assignment, I will contact you directly to resolve.

TOP 10 & TOP 5

The performance order and song selections for the finalist rounds will be drawn in-person after the finalists are announced.

• Top 10:  Each ETA will perform 2 songs back-to-back with the live band.
• Top 5:  Each ETA will perform 1 song with the live band.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE

Please submit your Top 15 songs no later than September 20 using the link provided above.  If we do not receive your list by the deadline, you will need to select from the songs that remain available after the other contestants’ songs have been assigned.
